Forage Community studio offers many options to try pottery and build your skills. Join a class or a workshop in wheel throwing, hand building, or watercolour painting.
Beginners are always welcome. Fun is always had.

Beer Stein Workshops at Rival Trade Brewing
$75 / person (18+)
We collaborate with Rival Trade Brewing for Beer Stein Hand Building Workshops. Each participant sculpts and personalizes their own unique stein. Crafted by your hand, for your hand, no prior pottery experience needed and all materials provided. Each participant will also receive 1 drink ticket to enjoy a local brew during the workshop.
Hand Building Workshops at Forage Community Studio
$75-85/ person (16 +)
Our hand building workshop use a variety of pottery techniques including slab building, coil building, pinching, handle making, and more! You’ll use stoneware clay for these workshops and make the creation from start to finish. We have different workshops every month! Check our IG and FB plus our website purchase page for details.
Wheel Throwing Date Night
$80 / person (18 +)
Starting in November, join our date night wheel throwing workshops! Get a quick tutorial on how it works, and then try the wheel for yourself during this 2 hour workshop! At the end, you’ll pick your 2 best pieces for us to trim and fire. Wheel throwing is very messy, so make sure you wear non-date night clothes!
Beginner Wheel Throwing 6-Week Session
$330 / person (16 +)
A weekly 2.5 hour session over 6 weeks. Learn the basics of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing, plus touch on attaching handles and surface design. No experience required! All materials provided. This class is coming soon, November 2026. Our beginner classes are meant for people wanting to learn pottery or for those with less than a year experience with pottery.
Intermediate Wheel Throwing 4-Week Session
$250 / person (18 +)
A weekly 2.5 hour session over 4 weeks. MUST be able to center clay on the wheel without instruction. If you cannot do this, please join our beginner wheel throwing classes. All materials provided. This class is coming soon, November 2026. Our intermediate class is meant for potters wanting to continue their pottery journey by learning more skills such as throwing larger forms, throwing more difficult forms such as teapots, and throwing more consistent sizes.
