Dalyce Price (she/her) is a passionate creative professional and art advocate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (2018) in Fibre, from the Alberta University of the Arts. Dalyce is deeply committed to fostering creativity and is focused on providing accessible art education within her community.
In 2018, Dalyce was honoured with the Innovation and Development Award for her practice in fibre, recognizing her experimental approach to art and her dedication to community involvement. She also served as the Director of the Poly & Esther Gallery, where she contributed to the growth and representation of the local arts scene, and as the Director of Advocacy and Representation for the Student Union, advocating for students' rights and needs.
Dalyce’s artistic journey took a pivotal turn when she took her first pottery class during her final year of university. Immediately drawn to the tactile nature of the medium, she connected with clay in a way that shaped her artistic expression. Dalyce has since taken time to focus on her young family, but during this period, found herself yearning for the immersive, community-centered studio environment she had once enjoyed.
Dalyce believes that art education should be open and accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. Whether you’re just beginning or are looking to deepen your craft, Dalyce looks forward to welcoming you to Forage and supporting your artistic journey.
